Welcome to Blackford Golf Club

The Club was formed in Edinburgh in 1889 as a non-course owning club and named after the area of South Edinburgh. There is a maximum of 72 playing members who meet five times each year for outings to a variety of courses, mainly in the Lothians.  We arrange five matches each year against other clubs as well as running a summer matchplay competition.  The Club’s annual dinner is normally held on the last Friday in October.
