A full season of club activities had taken place during 2021, unlike the previous year when most activities were cancelled due to the Pandemic.
The Audited Annual Accounts were approved and the level of the Annual Subscription, to remain at £45, was agreed.
The present Committee and Officers of the Club were commended for their efforts. In particular the retiring Captain John Matheson CBE, was congratulated for his excellent Captaincy which included service for an extra year due to the Pandemic.
Chris Hardie was elected as Captain, Lawrence Dickson was elected as Vice Captain and Match Secretary and John Williams was elected as Secretary and Treasurer.
Paul Murray-Smith, John Stevenson and Bill Brodie stood down from the Committee, Colin Stevenson and John Matheson were elected to stay on the Committee . Jeff Preston and Malcom Davidson were elected as new members of the Committee.
The AGM unanimously approved the Committee’s proposal that where a member had become a non playing member and had held the role of Captain or Secretary then Honorary membership should be conferred on such member. Accordingly new Captain Chris Hardie has invited Mike Thomson and Tim Straton to become Honorary members which invitations have been delightedly accepted.
