There was a titanic struggle in a Matchplay tie today when Captain Chris hosted new member Henry Robson at Murrayfield in the sunshine . Captain Chris edged ahead during the first nine holes by two up only to be pegged back to all square at the turn . The second nine saw Captain Chris re-establish a lead of 2 up after a par four on the 15th hole .
There is a golf saying “ two up with three to play , never wins “ . How true !
The 16th hole was halved . So Captain Chris was looking good at Dormie 2up. However the golfing gods had other ideas . The 17th hole

The 19th hole was halved in 5 . On the 20th hole Henry brilliantly got his par 3 which won the match .
